March Adventures
A few Saturdays ago (ok probably more like a month ago) we decided to check out Griffith Observatory. Apparently we don't let Rosie run outside enough because as soon as we got there she started running in circles and refused to let us go inside the observatory. Luckily the views of LA were worth the trip.
Santa Barbara Zoo
Matt had Good Friday off of work so we decided to head up north to check out the Santa Barbara Zoo. It was great, small enough to do in an afternoon but it still had all the main animals plus we got to feed the giraffes. That was definitely the highlight for Rosie. She is still talking about how the giraffe licked her hand and that they eat lettuce. She is also still talking about how the gorillas had blankies.

Noah's Ark Exhibit
One of our new favorite places is the Noah's Ark exhibit at the Skirball center. Rosie loves it and best of all it's free on Thursdays.
The first room of the exhibit is the start of the storm. You can make it rain, thunder/lighting, wind, have the animals go by twos up a ramp on to the ark. Rosie loved watching the rain part.
The next room is full of every kind of stuffed animal, a mini ark with plastic animals and feeding rooms with carts and hay
Next is a room with a cute little kitchen area and play food and a jungle gym climbing area that scares Rosie
The last room is where they have story and music time, crafts and blocks and puzzles
I catch Rosie mindlessly crossing her fingers all the time
