For the Grandparents

DISCLAIMER: This post will probably only be interesting to family and most likely only Grandparents which is fine since I'm pretty sure they are the only people who visit our blog.

So Matt and I have turned into those parents who spend their Sunday evening taking pictures of their baby but when you have a baby as cute as ours can you blame us?

The Many Faces of Kenzie

After posting these pictures on Matt's facebook page

he wanted me to show that Kenzie does actually smile and doesn't only give intense glares (as you can see she gets her glare from her dad).

To Matt

For the past year Matt has been wanting me to start a blog. He wanted to share all the cool places we lived and visited (Rochester, Seattle, Vancouver & Victoria, Chicago, Costa Rica, Denver and Provo). I kept putting it off because I felt a little dumb posting a million pictures of just Matt and I. So now that we have a much cuter addition and since we're moving away from family I caved.

So here you go Matt. I might just count this as your anniversary gift :)

New York, New York

The view from Matt's hotel

Two weeks after Mackenzie was born Matt had to leave for training in New York (he left right after Kenzie's baby blessing...I was a mess). So to make life more bearable for both of us I took my 5 week old baby to New York for a week. *It was my birthday present from Matt's dad*

Mackenzie was a dream. She slept the entire flight there and back and every time we rode the subway she was out. I was a little worried about her hearing because of how well she slept through all the subway noise.

Here are some pictures from our trip:

Every time we went out this is how Mackenzie would always end up; asleep with her face buried in Matt's arm.
