9 Months

 It seems like everyday Rosie is learning some new trick. Here's a list of her latest accomplishments.

• Clapping
• Waving
• Blowing kisses
• Turning pages - one of her favorite things is to pull all her books off her bookshelf and flip through the pages
• Giving kisses - when asked to give loves she either lays her head on me (which is the closest she's ever gotten to cuddling) or she'll plant a big, sloppy, open mouth kiss on my face or she'll just end up licking me
• Playing peek-a-boo
• She also is way more friendly with strangers. She used to just give people her intense stare downs, but now she has actually started smiling and waving to people

Tiny Dancer

Rosie has turned into quite the dancer. Whenever any music starts playing she starts bouncing, clapping, and wiggling her little booty. Her favorite song is Barbara Ann. She is definitely her grandpa's granddaughter. She also loves any 80's hip hop...like Salt-N-Pepper. Oh and of course she loves the Biebs. Here's a little video of Rosie doing her thing. Unfortunately video cameras are way more interesting to her then dancing so it's hard to get her performances on film.

Baby Genius

The other day (ok more like a few weeks ago. I'm a little late in posting...) Rosie was holding her baby doll and I thought she said "baba".  I decided to test to see if she actually knew what she was holding was a baby. So I mixed the baby doll with all of her other toys and ask her "where's your baby?" After scanning the toys scattered on the floor she crawled to her doll, grabbed it and gave it a very excited hug. So obviously she's a genius and all those books that say babies who aren't good nappers wont be as smart can eat it. And on a napping note...as a 9 month present to me Rosie has decided to only take 30 minute morning naps...help!

We ♥ Visitors

Last weekend my sister and her "friend" came for a visit. We had a blast going to the beach, the Getty Villa, the Grove shopping center, LA temple visitors' center and trying a bunch of new restaurants. Here are some pictures from their visit.
