Leap Day William - trading tears for candy

Happy Leap Day everyone! Hope you all remember today that real life is for March!

On another note...Rosie is 8 months old and has been growing up so fast. Here are some of her new developments:

• Two bottom teeth
• Super speed crawling
• Pulls herself up on everything
• Says dada all the time - the other day around 5:00 she crawled to the door and sat there looking at it waiting for Matt to come home saying "dada dada"
• Said mama once - I haven't been able to get her to say it again
• Has started picking up waving
• Sleeps through the night (most nights)
• Wont sleep in past 5:30  
• And is pretty much the cutest best baby ever!

Favorite Cousin

Sorry everyone else but I'm pretty sure Jonas is Rosie's favorite.  He can get her laughing more than anyone else. It's probably because his favorite thing in the whole universe is babies. Here's the proof.

Florida

Rosie and I just got back from visiting my brother's family in Florida. We loved the warm weather, beautiful beaches, Romney rally, and spending time with Rosie's cousins and her future best friend (my college roommate - who is also my sister-in-law's sister - 's baby).

BYU's #1 fan

 A few weeks ago we went to the BYU vs Pepperdine basketball. Rosie was glued to the game the whole time. 

She also loved the Pepperdine mascot.

We were going to take a picture of her with him but I'm pretty sure she would have been scarred for life.

Cousins

This last weekend we were able to go visit Matt's sister and new baby in Vancouver, WA.  Rosie meet her newest cousin and went swimming for the first time. She loved both...ok maybe she seemed a little indifferent to the baby but we could tell she loves him by the way she was trying to grab at his face.

 

Christmas

This Christmas we were able to spend a few days in Vegas with Matt's family. I failed big time and didn't take any pictures so we had to stage some fake Christmas pictures with Rosie in her Christmas PJs and Christmas dress.

6 Months

Rosie turned 6 month on Christmas and has been introduced to the world of solids.
